Our Beginnings
The Softball House was created from a simple idea: softball players deserve a place where they can develop their skills, build confidence, and truly understand the game. What started as a passion for the game became a vision for future players to grow into something bigger—a coaching experience centered around personalized instruction, intentional training, and genuine investment in every athlete.
The Softball House was built to provide athletes with more than just another practice. Every lesson is an opportunity to identify areas for improvement, strengthen fundamentals, develop softball IQ, and help players recognize the potential they already have. We believe great coaching isn't about creating players who all look the same; it's about helping each athlete discover what makes their game special.
From individual lessons and position-specific training to clinics, camps, and specialized training tools, The Softball House continues to grow with one goal in mind: helping athletes become stronger, smarter, more confident softball players—on and off the field.
This is more than a place to train. This is where players come to work, grow, and become the athlete they know they can be.

Meet our Coaches
Coach Sammi
Coach Sammi has been playing softball since she was 7 years old. She graduated from Dulaney High School in 2018, where she played all four years as a starting pitcher and first baseman. After high school, she pursued an athletic scholarship at Harford Community College, excelling as a starting pitcher, first baseman, and power hitter. Although her playing career was cut short due to medical complications, she is extremely excited to share her knowledge through private coaching with the next generation of players.
With many years of travel softball experience, including stints with Forest Hill Heat, LT Lazers, and Harford Diamonds, Coach Sammi is incredibly knowledgeable both on and off the field. As a pitcher, she was renowned for her tight spins, speed, and strong presence on the mound. She is also passionate about helping athletes select the right softball apparel and providing effective softball training to enhance their skills.
Coach Dani
She has been playing softball since 2004, with experience competing at the Varsity and club levels alongside Coach Sammi, as well as in Women’s Adult Fastpitch Softball. Her experience across different levels of competition gives her a unique perspective on the game and allows her to help athletes develop both fundamental skills and a stronger understanding of competitive softball.
Coach Dani specializes in working with athletes ages 10U–18U, making her a great resource for players who are developing their skills, transitioning into more competitive levels, or looking to take their game to the next level.
Her coaching philosophy centers around meeting athletes where they are, identifying areas for improvement, and creating purposeful training that helps them build skill, softball IQ, confidence, and consistency.
